ShortList is looking for a SQL Developer to maintain data systems for a leading not\-for\-profit in Columbia, SC. The SQL Developer will work as part of a growing data team to administrate and maintain the core SQL platform. This role would suit someone with 5+ years of SQL and T\-SQL experience. The role is hybrid with four days per week in office in central Columbia.

Key Responsibilities for the SQL Developer role:

• Develop and maintain T\-SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and tables
  


• Administer SQL Server security, user roles, and permissions
  


• Create, schedule, and monitor SQL Server Agent jobs
  


• Collaborate on reporting and analytics logic using T\-SQL
  


• Support and enhance ETL workflows
  


• Proactively monitor data jobs and ensure workflow continuity
  

Key skills for the SQL Developer role

• Degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent
  


• At least 5 years of experience in SQL development
  


• Knowledge of ETL concepts, Data Automation and Python
  


• Familiarity with Azure SQL is a plus
  


• Experience working with complex API's, especially AI integration
  

This SQL Developer role is ideal for an individual seeking to advance their Data career within a growing team, offering significant autonomy. There is also scope to learn and implement relevant AI tools as part of this role.
