SQL Support Developer - Urgent

Our client is currently looking for a seasoned SQL Application Support Specialist to join our dynamic team. This unique role offers the opportunity to support specific applications through intricate SQL programming whilst navigating through our ticketing system to ensure seamless operations.

Responsibilities of the Role:

• Providing support to numerous systems including Körber (HighJump), e2open (BluJay), Datex, PLEX, Minisoft (printing application), AWS services (Glue, Lambdas, Textract, and more).
• Involvement in upgrades to these systems, testing and new systems, and process implementation for these areas.
• Carrying out problem-solving tasks including investigation, root cause identification, resolution to prevent user or system-related issues from reoccurring.
• Fulfillment of intricate SQL and programming-related tasks.
• Ability to work in a versatile environment, demonstrating adaptability and implementation of changes.

Essential Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in SQL Development and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Proven problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of fulfillment processes.
• Adaptability and ability to implement changes.

Desirable Skills:

• Familiarity with Körber (aka High Jump) Architect or Blue Yonder, SSIS, EDI, Automation is an added advantage.

• Minimum of three years' experience in database development within the Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) industry
• Proficiency in database management and Microsoft SQL Server
• Expertise in Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes
• Strong understanding of MS SQL Server
• Experience with SQL Database, SQL Queries, and SQL Programming
• Knowledge of SQL Server Analysis and SQL Server Development
• Familiarity with WMS Application and WMS System
• Experience in Warehouse Management
• Knowledge of HighJump Warehouse Management System (WM)
• Familiarity with Amazon Web Services (AWS) is preferred
• Proactive in identifying and solving complex problems
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects concurrently
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred.
