Job Description - Sr. Accountant

Responsible for a range of general accounting duties, consolidation and financial analysis/projects.

Responsible for intercompany billings and reconciliations.
Analysis and/or reconciliation of general ledger accounts monthly.
Assist with the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial packages, assist with preparation of month-end closing journal entries.
Assist with the monthly consolidation process.
Provide schedules/reconciliations for public and internal auditors.
Responsible for bank reconciliations and recording daily banking activity.
Responsible for preparing and filing of various government reports.
Continuous evolution of work process to increase accuracy and reduce completion time.
Assist departmental managers with understanding and analysis of monthly spending
Work with department leaders in the preparation of the annual budget, including assisting corporate managers with budget and determining proper allocation of department when needed.
Coach and support remote location on proper use of the chart of accounts.
Responsible for maintaining work instruction and process in accordance with company’s document management policies.
Special analysis and ad hoc reporting as needed to support management.
Other duties as assigned.

BS/BA in Accounting, Finance, or Business required.
5+ years of general accounting experience, CPA preferred.
Ability to prioritize and adhere to deadlines.
Must have excellent communication and organizational skills,
Must be experienced with General Ledger systems and Cash Pooling Systems
Must be proficient in Excel, use of PC and PC Software.
Oracle and OneStream experience a plus.
