Sr. Accountant - Treasury & Investments - Unlimited Growth Potential

An area college based in Bergen County is currently seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team on a contract to full-time basis. The Senior Accountant will primarily be involved with managing cash flow analysis and reporting for their operations and fundraising areas, including cash flow review, variance analysis, and ensuring accounts are properly funded. The ideal Senior Accountant will have recent experience analyzing daily cash activity, summarizing cash transactions, and maintaining daily cash balances. Familiarity with operating budgets, cash reserves, and general cash movement are a must. A high level of proficiency with Excel is also required.

• Strong cash management skills and experience (cash flow analysis, reconciling cash accounts, cash transfers, wire transfers, cash balances)
• Proficiency with variance analysis
• Knowledge of fund / grant management cash flows
• Strong Excel skills
• Minimum 2 years' experience in a cash flow analysis capacity
