Job Description - Sr. Administrative Assistant

Eaton\u2019s IS AER FED division is currently seeking a Sr. Administrative Assistant. This position will be located at our Rumford, RI facility.\n\nThis position will serve as Administrative Assistant to the Plant Manager and Site Leadership Team, with ownership of several additional Quality Management System and Production Facilitation tasks.\n\nThe expected annual salary range for this role is $56000 - $83000 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.\n\nPlease note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. \n\n## What you\u2019ll do:\n\n\u2022 Document Control management and organization. Maintain and manage access to production master folders. Issue appropriate work orders to shop floor daily to facilitate production. \n\u2022 Manage front lobby access and control. Welcome and receive all guests, visitors, and contractors, and ensure compliance to site visitor Safety Training and ITAR regulations. \n\u2022 Manage input of corrective actions from Production, Quality, and EH\u0026S internal \u0026 external audits, and assist in monitoring action completion status. \n\u2022 Schedule Yearly Eye Exams, First Aid Training, \u0026 ART schedules, in compliance with site Quality System and EH\u0026S policies. \n\u2022 Coordinate scheduling and timely execution of site communication plans, training plans, and Site Leadership standard work tasks (i.e. site monthly All Employee Meetings \u0026 other recurring tasks). \n\u2022 Coordinate procurement and delivery of lunches/food for meetings and visitors as required. \n\u2022 Order office supplies, manage expense reports, and note meeting minutes as needed. \n\u2022 General Administrative duties as required.\n\n## Qualifications:\n\nRequired (Basic) Qualifications: \n\u2022 Bachelor\u2019s degree from an accredited institution with a minimum of one (1) year professional work experience OR High School Diploma/GED from an accredited institution with a minimum of five (5) years professional work experience. \n\u2022 Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship, now or in the future. \n\u2022 This position requires access to export-controlled information. To conform to U.S. Government export regulations applicable to that information, applicant must be a U.S. person, defined as a (i) U.S. citizen or national, (ii) U.S. lawful, permanent resident (green card holder), (iii) refugee under 8 U.S.C. 1157, or (iv) asylee under 8 U.S.C. 1158. \n\u2022 No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Rumford, RI will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.\n\nPreferred Qualifications: \n\u2022 Experience supporting a manufacturing or operations environment. \n\u2022 Bilingual in French and/or Spanish.\n\n## Skills:\n\n\u2022 Computer Skills \u2013 Must be proficient in Microsoft Office tools. \n\u2022 Organizational Skills \u2013 Must be a good communicator. \n\u2022 Time Management \u2013 Must be able to effectively manage multiple short- and long- term tasks simultaneously.\n\n \n#LI-CB3\n\nWe are committed to ensuring equal employment opportunities for all job applicants and employees.
