Job Description - Sr. Analyst, External Operations

The Senior External Operations Analyst position will report directly to the National Fulfillment Manager and be responsible for supporting the co-manufacturing business on the following operational fronts: management of finished goods inventory, fulfillment, reporting relationship management, and process improvement.


Accountabilities:



  • Relationship management between a cross-functional cohort of internal and external stakeholders

  • Management of Finished Goods Inventory – Ownership of Sales Orders and FG Shuttle movements shipping to and from MAB site.

  • Act as a liaison between Customer Service, Supply, Transportation, quality, and external partners

  • Reporting and automation tools to increase visibility to external partners

  • Process Improvement driven to reduce waste, maximize efficiency, and maximize service levels

  • Product Life-cycle management – Manage seasonal transitions, Brand Refreshes, and New Product Innovations

  • Continuous Improvement activities – Reporting, Automation Tools, etc…


Key Metrics & Financial Targets:



  • On-Time Shipments > 90%

  • In-Full Shipments > 99%

  • Case Fill % >99.5%

  • Inventory Age <90 Days

  • 0 Unforced Inventory Obsolescence


Own:



  • Finished Good Inventory including; Quality, Internal stock transfers, Partial Pallet Depletion, Age Risk, and Fill Rate

  • Management of external sales orders from receipt to fulfillment

  • Customer relationship management for co-manufacturing partners

  • Building Power BI Reporting


Influence:



  • Supply Planning, Transportation, Quality, and Co-manufacturing

  • Production Dates/Timing, Sales Order Adjustments, Dock Management, FEFO Attainment, Quality Reviews & Releases


Veto:



  • Non-value-added tasks

  • Capacity constraints


Critical Relationships:



  • National Fulfillment, Inventory and supply partners (Internal and External) Finished Good Warehousing Teams

  • Co-manufacturing orders, transportation, quality and supply teams


Qualifications, Education, & Experience:



  • At least 3-5 years’ experience in Supply Chain or related field

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field preferred

  • Intermediate understanding of Supply Chain, Inventory and Warehouse Management processes.

Compensation:


Compensation offered to prospective Team Members has taken internal equity into consideration and can vary depending on a positions’ location. The final agreed upon wage may vary based on the job-related knowledge, skills, and experience of the individual.



  • Competitive annual salary of $81,000 - $101,000 in Chicago, IL
