Job Title: Sr. Analyst/Associate, Capital Markets (SBA 7(a))

Location: Hybrid / Remote

We are seeking a Sr. Analyst, Capital Markets (SBA 7(a)) to join the Treasury/Capital Markets team. This role will support the execution and ongoing management of SBA 7(a) loan financing activities, including loan pledging, collateral reporting, and coordination with internal stakeholders and external financing counterparties. The ideal candidate is analytically strong, highly detail-oriented, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, execution-focused environment. Open to employees in the NY/NJ/CT area as a hybrid role, reporting into our mid-town Manhattan office, or remote for qualified candidates in other states. 
 

Key Responsibilities

• Loan Pledging & Facility Management
  • Manage the end-to-end process for pledging SBA 7(a) loans into financing facilities
  • Ensure compliance with borrowing base requirements, eligibility criteria, and lender reporting obligations
  • Maintain accurate collateral tracking and resolve any diligence or eligibility issues with internal teams and lenders
  • Support ongoing facility maintenance, including reporting, covenant tracking, and audit/diligence requests
• Capital Markets Execution
  • Support the execution of SBA 7(a) securitizations, including pool assembly, data tape validation, and transaction coordination
  • Assist in structuring, pricing support, and execution logistics
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure timely execution and accurate reporting of securitization activity
• Cross-Functional Coordination
  • Partner with the SBA originations team to track pipeline and ensure loans are financeable and meet facility requirements
  • Act as a key liaison between originations, asset management, and financing counterparties
  • Coordinate with legal, compliance, and external counterparties as needed
• Lender & Counterparty Interaction
  • Serve as a point of contact for warehouse lenders on collateral, reporting, and ongoing facility matters
  • Respond to lender diligence requests in a timely and organized manner
  • Support facility amendments, renewals, and onboarding/offboarding of collateral

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree (Finance, Accounting, Economics, Real Estate, or related field preferred).
• 1–3 years of experience in capital markets, structured finance, warehouse lending, SBA lending, or related financial services roles
• Familiarity with SBA 7(a) loans, securitizations, or loan financing structures is strongly preferred
• Strong understanding of loan data, collateral eligibility, and financing mechanics
• Advanced Excel skills and ability to manage large data sets with a high degree of accuracy
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple processes simultaneously
• Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally in a team-oriented environment

Pay Range:

The annual full-time salary range for this role is:

$75,000 - $90,000 

Final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and performance. Additionally, certain positions may be eligible to receive a discretionary bonus as determined by bonus program guidelines, performance and approval.
