About the Team
The Business Technology Go-To-Market Contract-to-Order team works closely with our business partners to drive growth and revenue goals for Workday and deliver outstanding Customer and employee experiences. The team is responsible for developing and supporting innovative architecture-led solutions for our Marketing, Sales, Services, Customer Support, Finance & Legal business functions with Salesforce being the primary platform alongside other innovative platforms, such as, SnapLogic for Integrations, Conga/Apttus for CPQ, CLM, AWS as PaaS, Coveo Search Platform, OKTA for SSO and others.

About the Role

As a member of the Go-To-Market Legal team, the Sr Salesforce Developer is responsible for partnering with legal, finance & sales business partners and Product Managers to craft and develop innovative Salesforce.com solutions. The Sr Salesforce Developer will own and develop line of business and enterprise solutions for the Legal product team. You will translate business requirements into technology solutions and will work closely with cross-functional partners and development teams to deliver. An ideal candidate has a background in sales and proven success in a Salesforce developer role, and a demonstrable ability to develop solutions to complex business problems.

Responsibilities:
Act as the development lead on multiple projects from requirements capturing through solution design, implement, testing and deployment
Proactively use the most current technology to deliver a high quality product to facilitate and improve efficiency
Design solutions and implement Salesforce in a way that is simple, intuitive and easy to and will meet business requirements
Participate and collaborate in requirement analysis, Quality Assurance (QA), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and deployments, as well as sprint planning and strategic short term and long term roadmap
Work closely with Product Managers & Owners, Project Managers, Business Systems Analysts, System Administrators, Quality Assurance, Architect, and multi-functional guides as needed
Participate in design and code reviews to ensure development quality
Implement unit tests and write Apex test classes for code coverage.
Proficient in major development tools and processes, such as source control (e.g. SVN, Git), IDE (e.g., Eclipse, IntelliJ), JUnit test, debugging, profiling, Jira, Continuous Delivery.
Deploy metadata (configuration and code) to different environments via tools such as Ant and Opsera
Use tools such as Data Loader for data export, backup and migration between environments
Design user interfaces and create corresponding ERD (Entity Relationship Diagram) using Lucid Chart or similar tools to represent the data models and illustrate relationships between database elements
Build process flow diagrams to represent the logic and algorithms used to implement the business rules and requirements.
About You

Basic Qualifications Overall 8+ years of Technical experience & Bachelor's or MS in Computer Science
Strong proficiency in writing Apex coding (Apex Classes, Triggers, Visualforce pages & components)
Knowledge in developing and deploying solutions using Salesforce Lightning (Lightning Design System/Lightning App Builder/Lightning components)
Clear insight of Salesforce platform standard processes, coding, design guidelines and governor limits
Other Qualifications Experience with Apttus/Conga CLM & CPQ and integrations a huge plus
Strong object oriented programming experience in languages like Java, Python, Heroku
Can balance multiple tasks, make the right business decisions and tackle problems while under pressure, and prioritize and coordinate effectively.

Workday Pay Transparency Statement

The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below. Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants. Recruiters can share more detail during the hiring process. Each candidate's compensation offer will be based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, geography, experience, skills, job duties, and business need, among other things. Primary Location: USA.GA.Atlanta

Primary Location Base Pay Range: $136,000 USD - $204,000 USD

Additional US Location(s) Base Pay Range: $129,200 USD - $225,600 USD
