Sr. Business Analyst (IMDS/MSM) - (REF1829D)

Position Overview 

The ideal candidate will provide consultation on complex projects and serve as the top-level contributor or specialist on the Air Force Maintenance Scheduling Module (MSM) located at Gunter Air Force Base.

Primary Duties

• Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates business systems and user needs to ensure optimal performance. 
• Formulates systems that align with overall business strategies. 
• Write a detailed description of user needs, program functions, and steps to develop or modify computer programs.
• Formulates and defines systems scope and objectives based on user needs and an understanding of applicable business systems and industry requirements. 
• Devises or modifies procedures to solve complex problems, considering computer equipment capacity, limitations, and operating time, and formulates desired scope results. 
• Includes business and user needs analysis, documentation, and system requirement specifications. 
• Guides and advises less-experienced Business Systems Analysts. 
• Experienced working at the highest technical level of most phases of systems analysis while considering the business implications of applying technology to the current and future business environment. 

Experience: 

• Must have 5+ years of experience in Maintenance Scheduling Module (MSM) – IMDS OS Family of Systems 
• Agile Software Development Experience and Training

Tools/ETools:

• Remedy, Atlassian toolset (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Jira Service Management), PL SQL Developer, CSCS, Dev/Ops, Defense Intelligence Information Enterprise (DI2E), HP ALM, Visual Studio, Git, and the MS Office suite of software.
• Familiar with Cloud One, AWS, Azure, and DISA

Clearance Requirement:

• US Citizenship is Required
• Clearance is not required; however, you must pass a single-scope background investigation.

Salary Range:

• $70,000k - $75,000k per year (depending on experience)
