We also strive to build an engaging and inclusive culture through building camaraderie and celebrating the diverse perspectives of all our global team members. \n\nAs a Sr. Category Supplier Manager, you will develop a category strategy for managed categories, validating strategies with Global and Regional Category Managers and the respective internal partners and customers. You will be conducting strategic sourcing initiatives, planning and driving negotiations using supplier and industry analysis, benchmark and cost management. Through management of the category strategy, you will also be building positive relationships with internal customers, driving outstanding, cost, supply and resilience.\n\nResponsibilities include but are not limited to:\n\n\u00b7Category Management \u0026 Strategic Sourcing of Process Facilities Equipment: Establish processes to track collaborator happiness with key suppliers.\n\n\u00b7Category Management \u0026 Strategic Sourcing of Process Facilities Equipment: Develop category strategies for managed categories and validate strategies with Global and Regional Category Managers and internal partners. \n\n\u00b7Cost Management \u0026 Analysis: Drive category savings/revenue and scorecard metric targets.\n\n\u00b7Negotiation: Lead or participate in negotiations for contract extensions and renewals, renegotiation of prices, transfers, etc.\n\n\u00b7Business Partnering: Collaborate with Customers to Deliver Strategic Solutions and maintain a strong expertise in the assigned spend categories through relationships with key customers\n\n\u00b7Business Partnering: Drive a customer-centric approach to solving issues and representing Procurement while maintaining a collaborative partnership to improve cost-effectiveness, supply chain efficiency, and resilience.\n\nMinimum Qualifications:\n\n\u00b77 + years of experience in Semiconductor industry, EPC functions, facilities procurement functions\n\n\u00b7A bachelor\u2019s degree in engineering or related degree and/or equivalent working experience.\n\n\u00b7Proven experience in category management and strategic sourcing.\n\n\u00b7Strong negotiating and analytical skills.\n\n\u00b7Strong communication skills and ability to effectively manage relationships with various individuals involved.\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\n\n\u00b7A relevant master\u2019s degree and/or equivalent working experience\n\n\u00b7Advanced skills in material cost structure understanding and analysis\n\n\u00b7Advanced experience using Microsoft Copilot or other AI tools\n\n## \n\nJob Profile(s):\n\nConstruction Procurement 4\n\nRelocation Level: TBD\n\nBefore Getting Started \nPlease review Micron\u2019s Internal Job Application Policy on your regional PeopleNow Career Opportunities page before searching and applying for jobs.
