Job Description - Sr. Category Supplier Manager II
Serve as primary contact for global construction suppliers, managing strategic relationships and ensuring alignment with company objectives. Perform commercial supplier qualification and maintain compliance with business ethics, safety policies, and social responsibility initiatives. Lead sourcing events and RFQ processes, develop contract strategies, and negotiate construction contracts incorporating savings targets and requirements. Coordinate contracts to ensure all obligations are fulfilled by both Owner and Contractor, while resolving supplier performance issues effectively. Collaborate with Global Facilities and site teams to monitor supplier performance, drive important metrics, and ensure continuous improvement through strategic reviews. Communicate supplier management updates to multiple organizational levels, including Executive Leadership, and secure senior management engagement. Provide market intelligence and apply should-cost models for construction procurement categories, serving as subject matter expert for internal partners. Organize and lead strategic supplier events (QBRs, annual evaluations, executive reviews); position requires up to 20% domestic and 5% international travel. Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering Management, Business, Finance, Construction Management or related field. Large project management/contracting experience (>$500M project value) Procurement functions including contract execution, change management, administration and auditing. Category Management including supplier sourcing, qualification and selection for direct services, indirect services and capital projects. Procurement contracting and lifecycle activities, including negotiation, execution, and administration—managing CORs, validating payment applications, and resolving disputes. Establishing master service agreements (MSA's)/Long Term agreements using Contract strategy & negotiations for mechanical, electrical and plumbing categories. Project scheduling, coordinating procurement, legal, construction, change management teams to achieve schedule requirements. Contract Lifecycle management under different phases and field of capital projects (Develop/CSA/MEP/Commissioning/Closeout). Core principles of electronics, solid foundation in understanding the technical and infrastructure needs of high-precision environment for construction of Semiconductor Fabrication Facility Construction. Conducting pricing negotiations on high value ($500M+) construction projects.
