Job Title: Senior Circuit Design Engineer (RF)

You will be part of the Encore Semi design and circuit layout team, creating next generation products for commercial, civil and space missions. You will work as part of a team with the RFIC/Mixed-Signal Designers and Layout Designers on chip layout and custom analog and RFIC IP blocks in technologies down to 3nm.

Role & responsibilities:
As the Senior Circuit Design Engineer you will have the responsibility to provide technical leadership for challenging R&D projects using a wide variety of technologies. Working in collaboration with Encore Semi’s customers, you will be part of a project team performing design and simulation of complex analog blocks to be integrated into RF IC’s. A successful candidate is creative and enjoys working independently, operate as a self-starter, and has strong background in analog mixed-signal design of RF circuits.
You will be working on circuits operating in the Radio Frequency band including PLL, ADC, DAC, and more. Your expertise in circuit design and layout of RF system blocks will be crucial for successful completion of these projects. 

Required Qualifications & Responsibilities

• BSEE with 8+ years of working experience in RF circuit design ranging from 7 GHz to 70 GHz   
• Experience with implementation and analysis of PLLs, Rx/Tx blocks, ADCs, DACs 
• Experience performing functional simulations and providing guidance to layout designers.
• Experience with Cadence Design Environment tools (e.g., Virtuoso, Spectre-RF) 
• Background shall include work with SiGe and BiCMOS technologies for RF design.  
• Proficient in custom IC layout using Cadence Virtuoso for layout edits. 
• Experienced with developing specifications and design documentation.

Preferred Qualifications

• MSEE or higher degree preferred.

The anticipated annual base salary for this position is between $145,000 to $180,000 which also includes a comprehensive benefits package. Your ultimate compensation may vary as we carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your job-related skills, qualifications, experience and location.
