We are seeking a Sr. Cisco UCCE Engineer to join our Healthcare client. This individual will play a crucial role in a transition to cloud-based operations and will be heavily focused on the security aspects of this migration.
Responsibilities:
* Provide Level 4 technical support for data and voice network systems, addressing inquiries from the Customer Support Center, staff, site personnel, and external vendors.
* Oversee the implementation and administration of LAN/WAN networks across various locations. These networks support a VoIP-based phone system and video conferencing infrastructure, including switches, routers, firewalls, VPN tunnels, load balancers, DNS/IP address management, and backup/recovery solutions.
* Ensure that all firmware is up to date.
* Implement encryption to TLS.2.
* Work with internal systems, including Cisco phones, Palo Alto firewalls, and Aruba wireless.
* Communicate effectively with senior leadership, including the CTO and CIO of the health system.
* Serve as a mentor within the team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.

* Cisco CCIE, Aruba AMCP, Palo Alto PCNSE
* Experience with cloud migrations and security.* 5+ years of telephony experience, ideally with Cisco UCCE
* Experience with Cisco Call Manager
* Experience QoS and Bandwidth management
* Experience with cloud technologies, ideally Azure
* Experience with telephony security
* Ability to work on a hybrid schedule, with the flexibility to work on-site as needed.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and effectively.
