Senior Coordinator of Social Media
to help grow our channels through high-quality content creation and distribution. The ideal candidate would be proficient with all social media platforms, creating KPI dashboards and dedicated to fostering relationships with Bengals fans.This is an elevated entry-level role for a professional with
2-3 years of experience in sports-focused social media.
Responsibilities
Reporting to the Bengals Director of Content, the Senior Coordinator of Social Media will manage day-to-day posting and content aggregation on the Bengals Social Media platformsCollaborate with a team of social programmersWrite social media copyMonitor the daily social conversations of fans, influencers, other brands and teams to identify trends and best practicesEngage with local and national social media trendsAssist with graphic design and video needs for different social channelsCreate KPI dashboards, develop thoughtful insights, and adapt the content strategy according to emerging trendsFacilitate the creation of video and graphics with the Bengals content team, the League LCC program, and NFL 33Ideate short-form videos to be used on Bengals Social channelsDocument community eventsLog and archive Bengals content using media asset management software, IconikOther duties as assignedQualifications
2-3 years of experience operating the social media channels of a sports organization including experience beyond an internship or seasonal roleBachelor's degree in journalism, marketing or communicationsStrong understanding of the NFL and its offseason eventsStrong writing skills with knowledge of AP StyleExperience in ideating and creating social media contentExperience with Microsoft Office and Google DocsExcellent communication skills and a proven ability to collaborate with teammatesMust be willing to work nights, weekends and holidaysPreferred Qualifications
Master's degree in journalism, marketing or communicationsExperience working with an NFL teamPhotography experience (DSLR & Camera Phone)Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Premiere)
