Job Description - Sr. Data Analyst with Pharma/Healthcare Background (North Carolina, USA)

Sr.  Data Analyst with Pharma/Healthcare Background (North Carolina, USA)

We are looking to hire a candidate with the skills sets mentioned and experience for one of our clients within the pharmaceutical Industry. This is a 6+ month contracting role, with potential for extension. This is an Onsite role, out of North Carolina.

Role Summary:

Thermo Fisher Scientific is operating the BPG Filtration & Separation division under TSA with Solventum post P&F acquisition in 2025. Thermo Fisher is working to exit the TSAs and migrate technical applications, infrastructure, business applications, ERP and services over to Thermo Fisher. As part of this project, significant amounts of data will be required, requested from Solventum, on a coordinated basis along very specific, rigid timelines.

This role will help manage and coordinate that process on behalf of the FSD integration team. Thermo Fisher is seeking a senior contractor to serve as the lead point person for data governance, enterprise data management, and data coordination in support of the FSD integration for the P&F business. This role will be managed by the FSD IT leader in close partnership with ERP leaders and Thermo Fisher application owners.

The contractor will coordinate the large volume of data requests needed to populate Thermo Fisher technology application stacks from Solventum, including transactional data, source-system data, ERP data, master data, reference data, and application-specific data.

Key Responsibilities:

  • The ideal candidate is a technically fluent data leader who understands enterprise systems, cutover timing, data governance, domain ownership, and cross-functional coordination, and can organize ambiguity, manage dependencies, drive accountability, and keep the full data picture moving across Thermo Fisher, Solventum, ERP teams, and application owners.

  • Serve as the primary point person for coordinating FSD integration data requests across Thermo Fisher IT, ERP teams, application owners, business SMEs, and Solventum stakeholders.

  • Manage and track hundreds of data requests across transactional, source-system, ERP, master, reference, and application data domains.

  • Partner with the FSD IT leader, ERP leaders, and Thermo Fisher application owners to prioritize data needs based on integration milestones, application readiness, testing, cutover timing, and business criticality.

  • Establish structure around data request intake, ownership, prioritization, validation, escalation, approval, and closure.

  • Maintain a consolidated view of data requests, owners, systems of record, source systems, dependencies, risks, decisions, due dates, and cutover impacts.

  • Coordinate with domain owners and application teams to clarify what data is required, where it resides, who owns it, how it will be extracted, and when it is needed.

  • Drive alignment across ERP and enterprise platforms, including JDE, SAP, S/4 HANA, Oracle PLM, Product Compliance, Ariba, procurement, supplier, manufacturing, commercial, quality, regulatory, and downstream application data sources.

  • Identify and resolve duplicate, overlapping, incomplete, or unclear data requests.

  • Escalate risks related to missing data, unclear ownership, timing conflicts, incomplete metadata, validation delays, extract issues, and application readiness impacts.

  • Facilitate working sessions to keep data activities moving.

  • Prepare concise status updates, dashboards, risk summaries, and decision points for FSD IT leadership, ERP leadership, and application owners.
