Job Description - Sr Director - Brand, Social & Culture Partnerships

The Role We’re looking for a strategic, culturally fluent leader to drive how our brand shows up in the world across owned, earned and influencer touchpoints. The Sr. Director of Brand, Social & Culture Partnerships will lead our external storytelling ecosystem — spanning brand partnerships, PR, influencer/creator strategy, and social — to build relevance, earn attention and drive new household adoption.
This is a highly cross-functional, externally facing leadership role responsible for shaping our cultural presence and building meaningful partnerships that move the brand forward.
You’ll manage a small but mighty team (3 direct reports) and work closely across other teams (Creative, Media, Innovation, Sales and Leadership) to spread Spindrift brand love to millions of new households.
What You’ll Own
Creator & Influencer Strategy
Oversee influencer and creator partnerships (paid + earned), from micro-influencers to athletes and celebrity partners
Build scalable, authentic creator programs that drive awareness, reach and engagement
Ensure talent selection reflects Spindrift’s DNA and drives cultural relevance
Measure and optimize influencer performance across key brand KPIs
Brand & Cultural Partnerships
Develop and execute a strategic partnership roadmap aligned to Spindrift’s growth strategy and goals
Identify, negotiate, and manage brand collaborations and partnerships, from concept to execution, across new and existing potential brand partners
PR & Earned Media
Own PR strategy and agency management
Drive proactive storytelling moments, supporting product launches and brand narratives
Secure meaningful media coverage that builds brand awareness and equity
Develop press materials, messaging frameworks, and thought leadership opportunities
Social Strategy
Guide organic social strategy and content direction
Identify emerging trends and opportunities to keep the brand relevant
Lead measurement of social efforts, tracking key brand KPIs and optimizing strategy and content based on learnings
Team Leadership
Manage and mentor 3 direct reports across influencer, social, partnerships, PR, and community management
Set clear KPIs, workflows, and priorities
Foster a culture of teamwork, creativity and challenging status quo
Who You Are
Minimum 10 years of experience across brand partnerships, influencers, PR and social media
Proven success in building and scaling consumer brands through relevant and meaningful cultural and social touchpoints
Strategic thinker with the ability to execute at a high level
Deep understanding of culture, trends, and consumer behavior
Experience leading partnerships and managing talent/creator ecosystems
Strong media relationships and PR fluency
Comfortable negotiating deals and managing budgets
Strong leader who can mentor and manage a team
Highly collaborative and comfortable working cross-functionally
Data-informed but creatively driven
Passion for health, wellness, and purpose-driven brands
Compensation & Benefits
The salary range for this position is $170,000 to $200,000 and is dependent upon the candidate’s experience prior to joining Spindrift. In addition, we offer the following compensation and benefits:
Short-term incentive programs specific to level and department
Medical, dental, and vision insurance, with an employer contribution rate of 80% towards monthly premiums, regardless of plan type selected
