Job Description - Sr Director of Commercial IT

The Senior Director of Commercial ITwill lead the IT strategy and ensure the effective delivery of IT solutionsthat support the commercial activities within Honeywell. This role will focuson enhancing marketing, pricing, quoting, sales, customer onboarding, support,and success processes through advanced IT systems and technologies. As a keymember of Honeywell’s leadership team, you will work closely with commercial andproduct teams to drive revenue growth, improve market competitiveness, andensure high customer satisfaction. Additionally, you will manage Product IT,including IT tools and strategies that are part of the cost of goods sold(COGS), such as IT Service Management (ITSM), monitoring and observability,external learning management, technical account management, tiered customersupport, and customer success offerings.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop and Implement ITSolutions:
-Streamline and enhance marketingcampaigns through IT solutions that ensure accurate targeting andeffective lead generation.
-Optimize pricing strategies andquoting processes with advanced IT systems, enabling swift and accurateproposal generation and approval workflows.
Support the Sales Cycle:
-Provide robust IT infrastructureto support the entire sales cycle, from initial lead capture and CRMintegration to opportunity management and deal closure.
-Ensure that sales processes areefficient and effective through the use of technology.
Ensure Seamless CustomerOnboarding and Support:
-Integrate automated systems tofacilitate quick and efficient customer setup and training.
-Ensure that customer onboardingand support experiences are seamless and positive, enhancing overallcustomer satisfaction.
Enhance Customer Success:
-Use IT-driven insights and toolsto provide proactive support, performance monitoring, and issueresolution.
-Ensure high customersatisfaction and retention by leveraging technology to enhance customersuccess.
Collaborate with CommercialTeams:
-Work closely with commercialteams to leverage data analytics for improved decision-making andgo-to-market strategies.
-Drive revenue growth and marketcompetitiveness through the strategic use of IT and data.
Manage Product IT:
-Oversee IT tools and strategiesthat are part of the COGS, including IT Service Management (ITSM)systems.
-Ensure effective monitoring andobservability of IT systems to maintain high availability andperformance.
-Manage external learningmanagement systems to support customer education and training.
-Lead technical accountmanagement initiatives to provide tailored support and solutions to keycustomers.
-Implement and manage tieredcustomer support and success offerings to meet diverse customer needs andensure scalable, high-quality service delivery.
Drive Data and Analytics Initiatives:
-Implement advanced dataanalytics tools and methodologies to generate actionable insights forexecutive decision-makers.
-Provide data-drivenrecommendations to the leadership team to inform strategic planning andoperational improvements.
-Leverage analytics to identifymarket trends, customer behaviors, and performance metrics that drivebusiness growth.
Lead IT Strategy and Vision:
-Develop and communicate an ITstrategy that aligns with commercial goals and drives business growth.
-Ensure that IT initiativessupport the overall business strategy and objectives.
Manage IT Projects andPriorities:
-Prioritize IT projects that havea significant impact on commercial activities.
-Ensure that IT projects aredelivered on time, within scope, and on budget.
Ensure Compliance and CyberSafety:
-Implement robust cybersecuritymeasures to protect data and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
-Maintain a high level ofsecurity across all commercial and product IT systems.
Provide IT Leadership:
-Lead and develop the IT team,fostering a high-performance culture.
-Ensure that the IT team has theskills and capabilities to support commercial and product IT activitieseffectively.

Qualifications:
-Bachelor’s degree in InformationTechnology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.MBA or advanced degree preferred.
-10+ years of experience in ITleadership roles, preferably within a SaaS B2B environment.
-Proven track record of developingand executing IT strategies that drive business growth and efficiency.
-Strong understanding ofcommercial processes, including marketing, pricing, quoting, sales,customer onboarding, support, and success.
-Excellent leadership,communication, and interpersonal skills.
-Ability to influence and buildstrong relationships with business leaders and stakeholders.
-Knowledge of cybersecurity,compliance, and IT governance best practices.
-Experience managing IT budgetsand resources effectively.
-Experience with IT ServiceManagement (ITSM), monitoring and observability, external learningmanagement systems, technical account management, and tiered customersupport and success offerings.
-Proficiency in data analytics andthe ability to translate data into actionable insights for executivedecision-making.
