Summary:
The Remote Senior EHR Analyst will support our expanding healthcare organization through ongoing operations and growth initiatives, including mergers and acquisitions (M&A). This role will focus on ensuring the optimal performance of our EHR systems through configuration, data migration, template development, end-user support, and analytics/reporting efforts.
Responsibilities:
eClinicalWorks Support & Configuration
- Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for eClinicalWorks (eCW), providing advanced system configuration and optimization.
- Build and maintain customized clinical templates, forms, order sets, and workflows based on provider and practice needs.
- Identify opportunities for improved system utilization and workflow efficiency.
Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A)
- Support M&A activities including onboarding of new practices, EHR integration planning, system setup, and user provisioning.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate legacy systems and plan/execute data migrations to eCW.
- Assist with clinical workflow alignment and change management during practice transitions.
Data Migration & Integration
- Lead or support data migration efforts including mapping, extraction, transformation, validation, and import into eCW.
- Ensure data integrity, compliance, and minimal disruption during go-lives or transitions.
Troubleshooting & Triage
- Provide Tier 2/Tier 3 support for complex EHR-related issues, escalating to vendor support when necessary.
- Analyze system errors, user-reported issues, and operational challenges, and implement timely solutions.
Reporting & Analytics
- Design and maintain eBO (eClinicalWorks Business Optimizer) reports and dashboards to support clinical, operational, and financial reporting needs.
- Provide ad hoc and scheduled reporting in support of quality initiatives, compliance, and business intelligence.
Cross-EHR & General Support
- Support interoperability initiatives and interface coordination with other systems (labs, billing, PM systems, HIEs, etc.).
- Participate in testing, upgrades, and deployment of patches and new features across EHR platforms.
- Collaborate with stakeholders from clinical, IT, and operations teams to deliver training, documentation, and user adoption support.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or related field and/or equivalent experience.
- eCW certification required.
- 5+ years’ experience supporting an ambulatory EHR.
- 5+ years’ experience managing vendor relationships.
- Experience in Program or Project Management.
- Experience in Sr. Analyst or eCW Architect.
- Experience in building training and education programs.
- Detailed knowledge of eClinicalWorks administration - eCW Super User verified training / certification preferred.
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA rules and regulations.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Strong time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative.
- Must be self-motivated, dependable, and can meet reliable on-site attendance and punctuality standards.
