Sr. Electrical Designer

Job Summary

We are looking for a FT Sr. Electrical Designer. This position ideally will work from our Dayton, OH. HQ's location but we are open to arrangements from other states. The selected candidate will work in the Electrical/Instrumentation Department and should be proficient in various areas of the industry. The desired candidate will be expected to work with a team of Engineers, PM's, Designers and Administrative staff. 

Knowledge

• Familiarity with the NEC
• Strong understanding  of wiring and power distribution
• MCC's, cable sizing, power correction, variable frequency drives, transformers  and switchgear, single line diagrams, lighting design, basic knowledge of P&ID's

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in design and/or drafting with a background in electrical industrial processing plants

Special Skills

• Proficient in REVIT
• Proficient in AutoCAD
• Knowledge of Navisworks
• MS Excel at advanced level
• Able to work in field, climb stairs, ladders
• Working knowledge of Databases (MS Access - preferred but not required)
