Job Description - Sr Exchange Administrator


JOB DESCRIPTION

Watershed Security is looking for qualified candidates to join our team in Pensacola, FL as a Senior System Exchange Administrator with demonstrated experience conducting VMWare and Windows maintenance and administration tasks on a complex enterprise-scale network. 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
 
  • Active DoD Secret clearance or higher
  • Current IAT III in accordance with DoD 8570.01
  • 9 years of progressive IT experience including significant Microsoft Windows Server 2012R and above administration within the past 3 years
  • 2 years of experience supervision complex IT projects
  • 1 year of experience supervising large IT service contracts, including personnel of various job categories and skills and must have occurred in the last 5 years
  • Implement Global Address List (GAL) synchronizing between forests by means of Microsoft MIM
  • Write and submit Change Requests (CRQs) for changes in procedures for approval by Information Assurance (IA)
  • Provide services for Exchange support and troubleshoot for thousands of users on more than 100 MSC vessels and for multiple MSC NOCs
  • Maintain and manage the MSC Microsoft Exchange Server infrastructure within ensuring e-mail functionality for fleet customers
  • Monitor and optimize Exchange server performance
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Develop Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) documentation regarding security practices and operational procedures
  • Create and implement guidelines for accreditations and Cyber Operational Readiness Assessment (CORA)
  • Assist in creation and implementation of disaster recovery, business continuity, and failover/cutover procedures
  • Write and update system documentation, install security patches/updates, plan and perform Exchange server upgrades, troubleshoot email issues and maintain the security posture of Exchange servers
  • Provide written and verbal project updates to leadership, respond to, resolve, and document customer e-mail issues using the Naval Information Warfare Command (NIWC) ticket system (Remedy)
PAY RANGE

Final salary is influenced by factors such as location, contract labor categories, experience, skills, education, and certifications. Watershed offers competitive compensation, medical and dental benefits, educational reimbursement, 401K plans with matching, 15 days of PTO to start and 11 paid holidays per year.   The proposed salary range for this position is: $100,000 -$122,000 USD
