Job Description:Our client is looking for an experienced and organized Sr. Experiential Event Manager for their luxury client base. This is a FULL TIME, ONSITE role. The position is based in Houston, TX, and the client is open to relocation for the right candidate match.
As the Sr. Experiential Event Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing a comprehensive range of services from corporate event production to managing travel and onsite hospitality and catering services.
You should have excellent project management skills, as well as experience in event planning and execution. You should also be comfortable working with virtual event platforms.
RESPONSIBILITIES:• Provide leadership and guidance to the Travel and Events team, overseeing the innovative and engaging execution of experiential events• Ensuring alignment with brand identity and strategic objectives• Collaborating with internal stakeholders and external partners for seamless integration• Understands the strategic and creative requirements and objectives of the events• Drive and track cost management and efficiencies procedures• Drive internal continuous improvement in best practice processes and procedures & event production to streamline our Travel & Events department.• Administer financial activities including budgets, expense approvals, reconciliation, and audits, ensuring events are delivered on time and within budget.
QUALIFICATIONS:• Bachelor’s degree in event management, business, or related field.• Minimum of 10 years of experiential event experience• Experience with virtual event platforms• Excellent project management skills• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills• Knowledge of budgeting and finance• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
