Overview:
The Sr. Federal Client Manager is responsible for driving all Xerox business within your established territory. The job requires the ability to work collaboratively and effectively with internal and external customers leading to sound business decisions. The candidate must have highly effective business communication skills to drive consistent follow-up and follow through with clients and internal Xerox resources. The candidate will use industry experience, knowledge of Xerox products/solutions and understanding of the client to identify areas where Xerox offerings will solve client business problems and provide positive return on investment.
Responsibilities:
Accurate pipeline creation, maintenance, and forecasting
Grow sales of Xerox software, technology, and services in your assigned territory
Achievement of annual sales plan for new business, software, services, and technology
New business growth along with retention and growth of the Xerox product portfolio within your existing customer base
Effectively grow and manage relationships with federal government customers within your assigned territory
Develop working knowledge of government contract vehicles in partnership with the Xerox Center of Excellence
Lead the response to government request for proposals with the help of the Xerox bid center
Develop the skills to effectively use the Xerox order entry system
Lead Territory business reviews.
Partner with internal support partners to deliver customer quarterly business reviews which focus on contract performance and Xerox innovation
Maintain and improve knowledge of the Xerox product and services portfolio by completing Xerox training and effectively incorporating that acumen into daily business practices
Desired Skills and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience
Software/Hardware sales experience focusing on strategic account management within the federal or public sector marketplace
Ability to build strong relationship with federal government customers
Experience using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools (like SFDC)
Experience using Pipeline Management and analytic tools
Experience using Microsoft Products (like Excel, Outlook)
