Position: Sr Financial Analyst

What You’ll Do

Responsibilities:

• Meet and collaborate with partners across the business to review financial results or to make changes to the operation
• Support forecasting, budgeting, and short & long term business planning
• Support the completion of ad-hoc analysis and month end close support
• Create detailed analysis for presentations and reporting packages to Senior Leadership
• Prepare monthly/quarterly variance reports, addressing both the cause and potential resolution of identified variances.
• Prepare monthly labor capitalization calculations, ensuring accuracy and audit-compliant documentation.
• Review and approve invoice and purchase orders against budget
• Track and monitor areas requiring tight budget management, highlighting risks, opportunities and recommended corrective actions

What you Will Need to be Successful:

• Education requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Industrial Engineering, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Accounting, or equivalent
• Number of years:
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience required.
• Relevant experience :
  • Expert knowledge in Excel, including complex formulas and charts.
  • Proficient knowledge in forecasting, scenario analysis, key metrics, and trending.
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles
  • Presentational and professional speaking skills to communicate closely with Executive level management, including Directors, Vice Presidents, and the Chief Financial Officer.
  • The ability to explain complex analytics in a way that is easily understandable and executable, and enjoy “storytelling” to engage and influence your audience
  • Strong organization skills and attention to detail

The salary range for this position is approximately $80-90k. This range reflects our good faith estimate to pay fairly as to what our ideal candidates are likely to expect, and we tailor our offers within the range based on the selected candidate’s experience, industry knowledge, technical and communication skills, and other factors that may prove relevant during the interview process.
