As part of a hardworking team of diverse specialists, technicians, engineers, and program managers, you will work directly with the Space Systems Development (SSD) business unit, and be an active team member in the development of next-generation concepts and systems to advance our future of living and working in space sustainably. We are seeking an analytical, creative, and forward-thinking Financial Reporting Analyst to join our team. We're looking for someone with a passion for the pursuit of safe and repeatable spaceflight as you work daily with key stakeholders within the program and finance teams. You'll drive analysis, process improvement, and reporting to contribute towards financial and programmatic decisions that directly impact the history of space exploration. The individual should possess excellent financial acumen and strong oral, written, and interpersonal skills that can thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. In this hands-on position, you will work to increase the speed, efficiency, and automation of our finance operations by supporting the timely delivery and transparency of data to support the company's business decisions. Responsibilities: Collaborate cross-functionally to collect, document, and communicate business requirements to solve ambiguous and complex issues, ensuring a systematic approach to all critical issues Ability to effectively work with team members across various business locations throughout the country Creation of content and ability to present data to support program, financial, and operations reviews Work with customer partners and domain specialists to generate financial data reporting to facilitate key business decisions Design, develop, and maintain user-friendly financial dashboards and reporting that will support our business partner's financial needs Lead metrics and financial performance reviews Perform risk and opportunity analysis and provide actionable recommendations Serve as a change agent with strong credibility and influence in the organization Data mining across diverse data sets Stay in sync with stated deadlines and ensure appropriate actions are driven by business function forecasts. Qualifications: Undergraduate degree in business, finance, accounting, or other analytical field 8+ years of experience in business or data analysis with a finance focus Intermediate experience with data mining using SQL Expert-level skills in Microsoft Excel (Macros, Power Query, and Power Pivot) Experience with data mining across diverse data sets Excellent written communication and presentation skills and ability to converse with non-technical business partners Highly skilled collaborator and influencer capable of interacting with multiple business partners and team members.
