Our ideal candidate is someone who thrives at the intersection of people strategy and operational performance, a leader ready to influence culture, elevate talent, and partner directly with plant leadership to shape the future of our workforce.

If you’re energized by fast-paced manufacturing environments, multi-site leadership, and the opportunity to leave a lasting organizational impact — this is your platform.

Why This Role Matters:

This isn’t a sit-behind-the-desk HR role.

You’ll serve as the senior HR leader in our manufacturing facility, acting as the strategic advisor to plant leadership while championing employees at every level of the organization. Your influence will shape engagement, retention, safety culture, and leadership capability across entire operations.

What You’ll Own & Lead:

Strategic Leadership

  • Lead an off-site HR Manager.

  • Architect and execute HR strategies aligned to business and operational goals.

  • Orchestrate HR, talent management, recruitment, and performance management resources to fulfill the needs of a growing plant.

  • Partner with plant leadership to drive organizational performance and workforce planning.

  • Provide data-driven insights through HR analytics and reporting.

Frontline Recruitment:

  • Increase employee retention, reducing turnover while also increasing employee satisfaction.

  • Create and implement staffing and hiring plans and spearhead proactive plantwide workforce planning activities.

  • Conduct on-site job fairs and host external hiring events to ensure consistent, proactive frontline recruitment occurs.

  • Engage with local community-based organizations and initiate continuous outreach activities to increase candidate talent pools.

Culture & Engagement

  • Champion a positive, compliant, and high-performance workplace culture.

  • Lead employee relations, conflict resolution, and engagement initiatives.

  • Bridge communication between leadership and frontline employees.

Organizational Development

  • Drive succession planning, leadership development, and retention strategies.

  • Assess training needs and implement workforce development programs.

  • Provide coaching and support to plant leadership in support of employee growth and development.

Performance & Total Rewards

  • Lead performance management programs that elevate accountability.

  • Partner with corporate HR on compensation and benefits strategy.

Compliance & Risk Management

  • Ensure adherence to labor laws, HR best practices, and safety standards.

  • Provide support and leadership to ensure a “see something, say something” plant culture exists.

  • Support and reinforce plant safety and employee well-being programs.

Who Thrives Here:

We’re looking for an HR leader who combines executive presence with floor credibility — someone equally comfortable in leadership meetings and on the production floor.

You’ll stand out if you bring:

  • 5+ years of proven success as an HR Manager in manufacturing or an industrial environment.

  • Stellar communication skills with the ability to challenge plant leadership with humility and manage without direct authority.

  • Strong business acumen with the ability to influence operational leaders.

  • Deep expertise in employee relations, talent strategy, and compliance.

  • Strength in HRIS systems (UKG experience is a plus), metrics, and workforce analytics.

  • Exceptional negotiation and relationship-building skills.

Education & Credentials:

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field required.

  • Master’s degree preferred.

  • Bilingual Spanish/English ability is required.

The Impact You’ll Leave:

  • Stronger leadership pipelines

  • More engaged plant cultures

  • Safer workplaces

  • Higher retention

  • Scalable HR infrastructure across multiple sites

You won’t just support the business you’ll help drive it.

Why Pretium Packaging:

  • Industry-essential manufacturing footprint

  • Multi-site leadership exposure

  • High visibility to operations executives

  • Opportunity to shape culture at scale

  • Growth-oriented, people-first environment
