Sr. HVAC Service Technician/Journeyman

About the Opportunity

Aaron & Trecker is seeking an experienced Journeyman / Senior HVAC Technician to join our team. We are looking for a skilled technician who combines strong HVAC knowledge with the right attitude, dependability, and work ethic.

Experience matters, but so does character. Candidates must be punctual, willing to work, able to follow instructions, and committed to seeing jobs through to completion. We want someone who is willing to continue learning and take on both residential and commercial work as needed.

Compensation

•Up to $45/hour, depending on experience

•Commission on equipment sales

•SPIFFs on accessory and membership sales

Responsibilities & Qualifications

•Minimum of 5-10 years of HVAC experience in service repairs

•Installation experience is a plus

•Strong experience with either residential or commercial HVAC service, diagnostics, and maintenance

•Must be highly familiar with gas furnaces and air conditioning systems and/or commercial rooftop units (RTUs)

•Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose HVAC equipment

•Dependable, punctual, and committed to completing jobs

•Ability to lead and mentor technicians

•Comfortable and proficient working with ladders

•Approximately 10 years of well-rounded HVAC experience is preferred

•Appliance repair experience is a plus

•Must live within approximately 20 miles of Lake Zurich, IL

•Looking for candidates with a stable work history

•EPA Universal Certification & Active driver’s license in good standing – Required
