Job Description - Sr Industrial Automation Engineer

Sr. Industrial Automation Engineer

Design. Lead. Deliver.
Own full‑scope PLC, HMI, and SCADA automation projects supporting advanced manufacturing and utility operations. High autonomy. Complex systems. Real impact.

PACIV stands for Process Automation, Controls, Instrumentation, and Validation.

At PACIV, we are passionate about delivering world-class automation & validation solutions that empower many industries and advanced manufacturing. Our teams thrive on innovation, collaboration, and solving complex challenges that shape the future of industrial automation.

Our Senior Automation Engineers are trusted to lead projects end‑to‑end from requirements and design through implementation, commissioning, and client delivery. You will act as a technical authority, work directly with clients, and influence control system architecture and standards across projects supporting  critical infrastructure and advanced manufacturing.

PACIV maintains a strong project backlog across utilities and advanced manufacturing, offering long-term stability and consistent technical challenges. Projects range from small process modifications to large, site‑wide control system deployments, providing a balanced mix of design, programming, commissioning, and long‑term system support.

  • Support control panel fabrication, field installation, and modifications to existing PLC systems
  • Troubleshoot automated equipment and process control systems, driving corrective actions and continuous improvement
  • Prepare project documentation including requirements, design packages, test protocols, and operation & maintenance procedures
  • Champion safety, quality, and regulatory compliance throughout project execution
Qualifications
