Sr. International Tax Analyst

Job Description - Sr. International Tax Analyst

Senior International Tax Analyst

If you've built a strong international tax foundation and want broader exposure, more autonomy and a role that can genuinely prepare you for the next stage of your career, this is worth a look.

In one seat, you'll work across:

  • International tax and provision calculations

  • Transfer pricing

  • GILTI, FDII and foreign tax credits

  • Forms 5471 and 8858

  • Ad hoc projects and planning

  • Global collaboration across EMEA, APAC, Canada, LATAM and the U.S.

What You'll Be Expected to Own

From day one, the team is looking for someone who can independently work through international tax calculations, provision calculations and transfer pricing without needing to be walked through the fundamentals.

You'll take source information, work through established models and workpapers, identify issues and know when additional technical input is needed.

You'll also need the communication skills to work effectively with tax and finance teams across multiple regions.

You won't be pigeonholed into recurring compliance.

The role gives you exposure to international tax, transfer pricing, provision work and ad hoc projects within a sophisticated global tax organization.

And you'll have resources around you.

The team includes experienced international tax leadership and external technical advisors, giving you autonomy while continuing to build your technical depth and judgment.

The company is acquisitive, so the work changes. New businesses create new questions, projects and opportunities to broaden your experience.

Leadership is also open to new ideas and better ways of working.

AI, automation and tax transformation are actively being implemented across the organization.

Ideal Background

We're targeting approximately 4+ years of concentrated international tax experience, ideally within a multinational corporate environment.

Strong candidates will bring:

  • Hands-on international tax and provision calculations

  • Hands-on transfer pricing experience

  • GILTI, FDII and FTC

  • Forms 5471 and 8858

  • Experience working across a multinational tax organization

  • Ad hoc international tax project work

  • Strong communication skills

  • Ability to work independently, identify issues and escalate appropriately

Public accounting experience combined with multinational corporate tax experience can also be highly relevant.

CPA is valued but not required.

Compensation & Location

$110K-$120K base + annual bonus

Hybrid schedule, 3 days onsite in the Chicago area.

This is a strong fit for someone who already knows how to do the work and now wants broader exposure, more autonomy and a stronger platform for the next level of their career.
