In this impactful role, you will collaborate with multinational public companies and fast-growing pre-IPO companies to enhance their accounting practices. Your expertise will drive improvements in financial reporting processes and operational accounting functions, ultimately making a significant contribution to both our clients and our partner's team. Accountabilities
- Lead financial reporting efforts, including process design and compliance with filings like 10-K and 10-Q.
- Enhance operational accounting for continuous improvement and optimization.
- Implement accounting standards such as ASC 606 and ASC 842.
- Support mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and initial public offerings (IPOs).
- Deliver Accounting Advisory services and communicate effectively with clients.
- Assist project leadership with administration, budgeting, and account management.
- Engage in initiatives to advance the firm and practice, including recruiting and business development.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in financial reporting, operational accounting, or related areas.
- Prior experience in professional services, preferably at a management consulting firm or the Big Four.
- Strong technical accounting background with proactive issue research skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- High energy, flexibility, and engagement with a positive attitude.
- A great sense of humor is a plus!
