Sr. Manager, Insurance Accounts

PX operates a marketplace that connects consumer demand with insurance carriers and agencies. We're growing our presence with independent and captive insurance agencies, and we're looking for someone to help lead that growth.

This is a sales-first role. You'll come in and build your own book of business, selling insurance agencies on partnering with PX. As you show results, there's a clear path to growing into a leadership role building and managing a team of your own — but day one, this is about you closing business. 

You'll report directly to the GM, Insurance. 

What You’ll Do  

• Build and manage a pipeline of prospective insurance agency partners, from outreach through close.


• Own the full sales cycle: prospecting, demos, negotiation, and onboarding new agency partners.


• Build relationships with agency owners and decision-makers to understand their business and match them to the right partnership.


• Represent PX at industry events and within agency networks. 


• Share market and customer feedback with the broader team to help shape how we sell and support agencies.


• As your results grow the business, take on responsibility for hiring, coaching, and leading a small team. 

What You Bring to the Table  

• 5+ years of experience in a quota-carrying sales or customer success role, ideally selling to small/medium businesses, agencies, or a similar distributed buyer base.


• A track record of personally closing new business.


• Strong communication and relationship-building skills with non-technical, business-owner buyers.


• Comfort operating with ambiguity on a growing team.


• A data-driven approach to pipeline, forecasting, and account management. 
  

Good to have  

• Experience in insurance, lead generation, or performance marketing.


• Prior experience building or scaling a sales or customer success function.


• Familiarity with CRM platforms and outbound sales tooling.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Base Salary: $90,000 – $120,000, commensurate with experience.
