Position Summary:
The Sr. Manager, Operations – Insourcing M&A is responsible for leading the transition of externally outsourced functions into in-house operations. This role blends expertise in operations, manufacturing, and M&A to manage end-to-end insourcing efforts—from due diligence through execution—ensuring seamless integration, cost efficiency, and operational scalability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead Insourcing Initiatives: Identify and manage insourcing opportunities, evaluate financial impact, and oversee transitions from external partners.

• M&A Integration: Drive insourcing efforts within M&A projects, aligning transitions with strategic and operational goals.

• Financial & Risk Planning: Build financial models, assess risks, and develop mitigation strategies.

• New Product Integration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new products into existing or new manufacturing operations.

• Process Optimization: Design efficient, scalable workflows focused on quality, cost, and speed.

• Stakeholder Collaboration: Coordinate with internal teams and leadership to ensure aligned execution and readiness.

• Supplier Transition: Manage the handoff from suppliers to internal teams, including logistics and capability building.

• Training & Quality: Oversee team training and ensure adherence to quality and compliance standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s in Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field (MBA preferred)

• 10+ years in operations/manufacturing with 5+ years in leadership roles

• Proven experience managing insourcing or transition projects

• Strong skills in lean manufacturing, cost optimization, and risk management

• Effective communicator with cross-functional leadership experience

• Proficiency in project management tools and ERP systems

Preferred:

• Experience in regulated industries (e.g., medical devices, pharma, automotive)

• Six Sigma or Lean certifications

• Familiarity with new product introductions and lifecycle management

Other Details:

• Full-time, on-site role

• Occasional travel required for supplier transitions and site visits
