What you'll be doing…

Oversee a team to steer the architecture, design, and frameworks of APIs for the wireless sales and service platforms. Collaborate closely with Systems of Engagement and other leaders in the organization, to drive platform solutions for delivery and transformation. Oversee case management and decisioning platforms, with a primary focus on enhancing customer experience. Manage architecture and ordering platforms and ensure operational stability and reliability. Build a dynamic team, guide designs for critical programs, facilitate agile teams in developing scalable solutions, and establish a governance structure to ensure effective API catering to all channels. Responsible for the delivery of several critical architecture programs and the delivery of a best-in-class Omni Journey Orchestration and Pega Case Management platform for Verizon customers. Provide oversight of Pega platforms for the development, build, and operations of several business-critical applications ensuring the highest quality and availability of the system. Direct and operate a close team of leads and team members on all aspects of the development and delivery of sales and service APIs, performance and governance of the APIs, end-to-end design and architecture of the APIs, while striving for PEGA Center Of Excellence (CoE) and support of the initiatives for all sales and service channels to meet needs. Ensure all the BPM solutions developed on the Pega platform cover all the business needs in each of the channels while providing reusable and scalable solutions to drive best-in-class Omni solutions and Journey orchestration platform. Ensure delivery of marketing, retention, loyalty, sales, service, support, and customer experience priorities as well as NSA, post order/back-end systems transformations. Ensure the Pega platform is operating at the highest operational efficiency and maintaining the platform's reusability and performance. Exercise operational controls, upholding platform stability and scalability, while driving the team to Agile adoption. Apply knowledge of PL/SQL, Oracle, Cassandra, Cloud Computing, Dev-Ops, Software Development Lifecycle, and API design and architecture. 

What we're looking for…

Bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, and 6 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or as a Software Engineer, Software Developer, or in a related/similar position. Experience therein to include 6 years of experience in the following: Pega software development including Pega Business Process Management (BPM) and Pega Decisioning; project management, vendor management, and technical leadership; and working with PL/SQL, Oracle, Cassandra, Cloud Computing, Dev-Ops, Software Development Lifecycle, and API design and architecture. Hybrid role, ability to work from home.

Where you’ll be working

In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes working from home and a minimum of three days per week in the office, which will be set by your manager. Employees are responsible for maintaining compliance with hybrid work policies.
