Job Description:
Design, build, prototype testing the next generation broad band plasma (BBP) Wafer inspection opto-mechanical assemblies.
Collaborated development with core suppliers.
Sustain current broad band plasma (BBP) product lines with manufacturing division.
Work with system, optical, electrical and software engineer to derive the subsystem requirements and conduct design reviews.
Qualify and release the mechanism design, provide support for onsite manufacturing.
Metrology equipment for inspection machines
Design new sub systems.
Build, test, bench test, calibration, etc. full life cycle development.
Simulation will be 10%; Designing and testing will be 90%
Qualifications:
CAD Modeling: Cero/ProEngineer experience preferred
Precision mechanism development: actuator selection, tolerance analysis, lifetime evaluation, optics mounting, alignment and adjustment design, etc.
CAE: thermal and structural simulation (ANSYS experience preferred)
7-10 years industry experience required
Looking for high position mechanism design (moving parts)
Some stimulation experience needed
Documentation skills
Medical device or defense background would be ideal
Working Hours: 9-5 M-F

Only one Certification Bonus per calendar year may be awarded per employee. Only current, active employees will be eligible to receive this bonus. It will be awarded 90 days after the Synectics office has received documentation confirming the successful completion of the certification.
