Job Overview:

One of our construction clients is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer. You will be responsible for leading and managing various mechanical engineering projects. You will work closely with our clients to understand their needs and provide innovative solutions to meet their requirements. You will also be responsible for overseeing the design, development, and implementation of mechanical systems and components, ensuring they meet all safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage mechanical engineering projects from conception to completion.

- Work closely with clients to understand their needs and provide innovative solutions.

- Oversee the design, development, and implementation of mechanical systems and components.

- Ensure all mechanical systems meet safety and quality standards.

- Conduct research and provide technical expertise on new technologies and materials.

- Experience in the detailed design of HVAC projects, including chilled/hot water piping, pumps, and Hydronics, process gas piping, DX piping, condensate piping, supply/return ductwork.

-Computer 3D modeling of HVAC systems utilizing the latest AutoCAD and other mechanical design software to develop designs and plans.

- Mentor and train junior engineers.

- Participate in meetings and presentations with clients and stakeholders.

- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements.

Qualifications:

-Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. Master's degree preferred.

-A Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.

-Extensive experience (8+ years) in mechanical engineering design of HVAC/Mechanical solutions, with a focus on construction projects.

-Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit), Bluebeam, and engineering analysis tools.

-Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and industry standards related to mechanical systems.

-Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.

-Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, multidisciplinary team environment.

-Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
