Job Description - Sr. Mgr, Transportation - Digital Transformation

## The group you\u2019ll be a part of\n\nGlobal Logistics Team at Lam Research has embarked on a business transformation journey to create next-generation business processes and solutions to significantly increase business efficiency and speed. The Sr. Manager Digital Transformation role is a unique opportunity to lead the transformation to enable future business growth at an unprecedented level.\n\n## The impact you\u2019ll make\n\nThe Digital Transformation Sr. Manager at Lam Research is responsible for leading and overseeing the strategic implementation of digital technologies across transportation and logistics operations. This role involves driving innovation, improving operational efficiency, and enhancing our internal users\u2019 experiences through the adoption of digitals tools and processes. \n\n## What you\u2019ll do\n\n * Leading digital transformation initiatives: The manager is responsible for identifying opportunities for digital improvement and developing transformation roadmaps that align with organizational goals.\n * Help to define problem statements, vision/plan, success criteria, business benefits, and accountability.\n * Managing cross-functional teams: The role requires managing cross-functional teams to ensure that digital initiatives deliver measurable business value.\n * Driving digital transformation: The manager must drive changes in business processes, culture, and customer experiences to meet changing business and market requirements.\n * Implementing digital improvements: The manager is responsible for implementing digital improvements to existing operational processes and ensuring that digital strategy aligns with business goals.\n * Training employees: The manager should be able to train employees about new digital tools and technologies, ensuring they are used effectively throughout the organization.\n * Monitoring digital transformation: The manager must continuously monitor the digital transformation strategy to ensure it aligns with the organization\u2019s goals and make adjustments as necessary.\n\n\n\nThe role demands a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of transportation modes, and the ability to translate complex technical concepts into actionable business strategies.\n\n## Who we\u2019re looking for\n\n * Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field. MBA or master\u2019s preferred but not required.\n * 10 years of experience in Transportation operations, strong knowledge of operational processes, data, tools, and improvement initiatives including experience in business process reengineering in leading/fast-growth companies.\n * Deep subject matter expertise in Transportation Management Systems.\n * Influenced organizational change by driving partnerships and alignment across the organizations.\n * Experience in leading cross-functional teams and influencing stakeholders across a global organization. \n * 5 of experience in business transformation programs.\n * Strong leadership and decision-making ability to manage internal and external teams.\n * Excellent problem solving and communication skills for coordinating with transportation suppliers and internal stakeholders.\n * Knowledge of the different transportation modes, US Customs Import and Export requirements, and logistics procedures.\n * Ability to analyze data and optimize routes for recommended digital transportation solutions.\n\n\n\n## Preferred qualifications\n\n * Ability to analyze and interpret large data sets for decision support.\n * Able to work with minimal direct guidance or direction.\n * Ability to thrive in a dynamic and ambiguous environment.\n * Understanding of best practices in the transportation industry and application to real life.\n * Knowledge of the systems (e.g., SAP ERP/IBP, TMS etc.,), implementation and project life cycles.\n\n\n\n## Our commitment\n\nWe believe it is important for every person to feel valued, included, and empowered to achieve their full potential. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories \u2013 On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. \u2018On-site Flex\u2019 you\u2019ll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. \u2018Virtual Flex\u2019 you\u2019ll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.\n\n#LI-RW1 \n#GD \nIND#LI-RW1\n\nSalary\n\nCA San Francisco Bay Area Salary Range for this position: $137,000.00 - $287,000.00.\n\nThe above salary range for this position is relevant to applicants that reside or work onsite in the California, San Francisco Bay Area only. Salary offers will depend on factors that include the location you work from, your level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience and comparison to other employees already in this role.
