Sr. Network Administrator

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Network Administrator in Allentown, PA.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Provide day-today support and maintenance for SDA Network Infrastructure systems to support Local Area Networks (LAN) and Wide Area Networks (WAN) across multiple sites
Network Management & Optimization -Plan, deploy, and manage LANs, WANs, wireless networks, including routers, switches, and other hardware.
Configure and install software, servers, routers, and other network devices.
Monitor network performance to ensure its availability and reliability, anticipating and mitigating potential problems.
Maintains knowledge of new and enhanced applications being developed and the respective platforms; monitors, analyzes and understands change management environment to enhance problem resolution capabilities.
Initiates and oversees complex service restoration processes to expedite problem resolution; monitors process and resolves any matters of significance in order to ensure completion in accordance with established service agreements.
Oversees and conducts the implementation of complex application, system or network changes; conducts testing to ensure installation meets appropriate standards and procedures.
Provide real-time troubleshooting and problem resolution as required and provide 24x7 on call assistance as needed

Requirements:

Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Network Administrator or related role
Proven skills in working with Cisco Routers and Cisco Technologies
Knowledge and experience with EO/IR systems
Proficiency in Firewall Technologies including Fortinet Firewalls
Familiarity with Microsoft products and Active Directory
Experience with Backup Technologies is essential
