Expected salary range of $141,300 to $157,000, varies based on experience, along with comprehensive benefits package that includes bonus and 401(k).
PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION
Responsible for corporate oversight, implementation, and support of the of the region's radiation protection programs such as As Low As Reasonably Achievable (ALARA) program, Radiation Protection (RP) Technician training program, RP Field Operations and Constellation's standardized Radiation Protection program to ensure implementation of radiological control procedures for personal radiation safety. Provides oversight and support to the sites radiological field operations staff. Mentor site Radiation Protection Field Operations Managers and candidates identified in site Radiation Protection Manager succession plans.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
Coordinate procedure changes to the applied/operational Radiation Protection programs with the site and fleet and write transition plans to ensure appropriate communications and change management.
Responsible and accountable for performing site performance assessments in their responsible area and communicating the results such that performance weaknesses are recognized and communicated prior to experiencing a significant decline.
Conducts, coordinates, or participates in comprehensive assessments of site organizations to assure program adequacy and implementation effectiveness. Conducts assessment preparation including development of plans and writing final reports and communicates results to line organizations.
Responsible to provide corporate oversight and support for the management of Radiation Protection technicians, Radiation Worker training programs, Contamination control program, Radioactive material control and any other applied/operational Radiation Protection program.
Oversee assessments of RP applied/operational programs to identify problems and systematically correct. Responsible to provide corporate oversight for implementation of policies and procedures relating to the applied Radiation Protection programs.
Perform in field observations of work and ensure that appropriate standards of performance are met.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Four-year degree in a Science related field and minimum five years technical experience in nuclear power OR
Two year degree in a science related field and seven years technical experience in nuclear power OR
In lieu of a degree, nine years technical experience in nuclear power with five years’ technical experience in Radiation
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
National Registry Radiation Protection Technicians (NRRPT) Certification
