A Day in the Life of the Sr. Permitting Specialist:

•  Own and oversee the end-to-end permitting process - from initial application to final approval
•  Submit permit applications to various jurisdictions (online, in-person, and everything in between)
•  Coordinate with Sales, Design, Project Management, and Production to prepare and submit complete, compliant packages
•  Keep a sharp eye on timelines - track permit statuses, follow up consistently, and keep everyone informed
•  Navigate local and state licensing requirements and maintain compliance at every level
•  Anticipate roadblocks, resolve issues, and keep projects moving without costly delays

•  Master multitasker - able to prioritize and juggle competing demands
•  Eagle-eyed attention to detail - because one small mistake can mean big delays
•  Communicates clearly, professionally, and with purpose - written and verbal
•  Collaborates with grace - works cross-functionally with every department
•  Brings an upbeat, team-first attitude - no task is too small when the goal is success

Requirements

•  3+ years of permitting experience (signage or construction industry preferred)
•  Strong working knowledge of city, county, and state permitting processes and regulations
•  Proficient with permitting platforms, CRMs, and documentation tools
•  Exceptional organizational and follow-up skills
•  Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, detail-heavy, deadline-driven environment
