Sr. Plumbing & Fire Protection Designer

As a Senior Plumbing and Fire Protection Designer you will be responsible for delivering high-quality design, analysis, and technical support for multi-disciplinary engineering projects. This role includes working closely with clients and project teams to develop plumbing and fire protection systems that meet project goals, code requirements, and client expectations.

Responsibilities:

• Design plumbing and fire protection systems for a diverse range of clients
• Perform code reviews and ensure compliance with state specific plumbing and fire protection standards.
• Complete fire protection hydraulic calculations using industry-standard software.
• Work in a team with other disciplines and clients to coordinate designs.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (required).


• Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience with a professional Architecture/Engineering (A/E) services firm (preferred).


• Certified in Plumbing Design (CPD) by the American Society of Plumbing Engineers (ASPE) (Preferred).


• Experience with AutoCAD (Required) and Revit (Preferred).


• Strong technical writing and communication abilities.


• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.


• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively under pressure.
