An industry-leading real estate developer and general contractor is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to oversee one of Chicago's largest ground up multifamily developments in recent histroy. This multi phase project features multiple highrise residential towers, structured parking, luxury amenities, and complex urban construction.

What You'll Do
Lead the overall execution of a large-scale ground-up multifamily project from preconstruction through turnover.
Manage project budgets, forecasting, contracts, procurement, and financial reporting.
Develop and maintain master project schedules while driving critical milestones.
Partner closely with field leadership to ensure construction activities remain on schedule and within budget.
Oversee subcontractor negotiations, buyout, change management, and contract administration.
Coordinate with ownership, architects, engineers, consultants, and municipal agencies.
Identify project risks early and implement proactive solutions to maintain project performance.
Review RFIs, submittals, change orders, pay applications, and cost reports.
Lead Owner/Architect/Contractor meetings and maintain strong client relationships.
Mentor Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers, and Project Engineers.
Ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
10+ years of commercial construction project management experience.
Proven experience managing ground-up multifamily construction projects.
Experience delivering projects valued at $75M+; high-rise experience is strongly preferred.
Strong understanding of structural concrete, MEP coordination, building envelope, interiors, and project sequencing.
Experience managing complex urban construction projects with multiple stakeholders.
Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Office.
Exceptional leadership, communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
