Sr Principal Engineer Electrical

Design and define system architecture for new or existing complex integrated test systems Coordinates design of subsystems and integration of total systems in a laboratory environment Development and coordination for internal and customer design reviews for the electrical and system level designs of our products Assist in troubleshooting of lab equipment as failures occur Coordinate between several internal and external stakeholder groups (Software Development, System Test, Cyber Operations, Procurement, etc.) to achieve contractual commitments Analyze complex electronic circuitry and precision electro-mechanical assemblies through simulation or analysis in order to recommend component substitutions or re-design solutions to ensure the integrity of the platform configuration, system safety, and performance specifications. Establish milestones and monitor adherence to master plans and schedules. Support process improvement and establishment. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications. Provide leadership and mentoring in addition to being an individual performer Coordinates with team lead, electrical technicians, and I&T managers to complete tasking. Ability to establish and maintain infrequent inter-organizational and outside customer contacts on routine matters. Bachelor's degree in in a STEM Discipline with 8 years of related engineering experience; OR a Master's degree in STEM with 6 years of related engineering experience; OR a PhD with 4 years of related engineering experience Ability to listen effectively, take direction, and possess initiative to accomplish assigned tasks and complete work in a timely fashion Ability to read engineering drawings and specifications Experience in Aerospace or Defense industry (development or test) Experience leading multi-disciplinary technical teams Ability to obtain/maintain access to work on-site in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Ability to diagnose/troubleshoot/repair hardware components. Experience with CAD or similar design tools Experience with Agile task generation methodologies. Experience mentoring and teaching early career engineers. Ability to act as a team lead and subject matter expert for electrical engineering. Your ability to obtain and or maintain the final adjudicated DoD Secret clearance, and any program access(es) required for the position within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company. Active DoD SECRET or higher security clearance with investigation in the last five (5) years Active Program clearance Master's Degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or related discipline Experience in Circuit Analysis & Digital/Analog Design Experience in Signal I/O Interfacing & Distribution Experience in Voltage/Resistance/Capacitance/Isolation Testing Experience in Power Distribution Systems Experience with HW/SW Integration Experience in Instrumentation or Avionics Systems Experience in Nuclear Surety Experience with any of the following CAD Software Tools and Data Management Products: CATIA, SolidWorks Mechanical/PDM, Siemens NX/Capital, SEE Electrical Expert, Microsoft Visio, National Instruments LabView, SmarTeam, Team Center Experience with nuclear hardened systems. Experience with JIRA or similar Agile task management tools Experience with Project and Program Scheduling and Task Generation to maintain schedule. Experience with Project and Program Bidding and BoE generation.
