Sr Principal Engineer Systems Architect (26-020)

Creating System Architecture solutions and concepts for a variety of new and emerging capabilities for the C2BMC system in collaboration with other Architects, including the lead Systems Architect, software architects, network architects, and cyber architects. Communicates and collaborates with other teams, including software developers, network engineers, cyber engineers, DevSecOps teams, infrastructure teams, test teams, and deployment teams, on System Architecture solutions. This includes both physical and logical architectures across the System Will interface with project leads, product owners, and the MDA customer The candidate will present architectural concepts to a wide variety of audiences and serve as the focal point for the System Architecture for the Capability, overseeing development, testing, and deployment efforts Will present at internal and external design reviews May assist in documenting or reviewing architectures in an MBSE tool such as CAMEO Maintains knowledge of current and emerging technologies and design methodologies in the areas of DoD Command and Control and COTS/FOSS information technology products Must have Systems Engineering/Architecture with Test Experience as a desired skill, on a DoD Program Must have the desire to be a Systems Architect on a complex Command and Control DoD Program Must have excellent communication skills and be able to present technical concepts to a diverse group of engineers Develops a thorough definition of system external interfaces. Ensures requirements are met and evaluates performance with the customer. Please list your current security clearance and IAT or relevant certifications on your resume, if applicable. A Bachelor's Degree in STEM Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field from an accredited university, along with 8 years of experience; or a Master's degree (preferred) in a STEM-related field with 6 years of relevant work experience; or a PhD in a related STEM discipline with 4 years of relevant work experience Applicants must have a current, active in-scope DoD-issued Secret security clearance at the time of application, which is required to start Master's Degree in Systems Engineering is highly preferred Certification: INCOSE Certified Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP) Certification Certification: Object Management Group Certified Systems Modeling Professional - Model Builder Fundamental (OCSMP - MBF) Candidates who possess at least two of the skill sets below are highly preferred:
