This position will be staffed as full-time on-site. Teleworking is not available for this position. The position offers the 9/80 schedule. \n\nWhat You\u0027ll Get To Do:\n\nThe Sr Principal Pricing Analyst will support the Mission Systems Navigation, Intelligence, and Connectivity (NIC) Division, reporting to the Business unit Pricing and Estimating Manager.\n\nRoles and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:\n\n * Develops, analyzes, evaluates, coordinates, prepares, and supports cost proposals to government and commercial customers.\n\n * Reviews Requests for Proposals (RFP) and proposal documents for compliance with customer specifications/requirements and adherence to company policy\n\n * Ensures Northrop Grumman Estimating System compliance and provides interpretation of RFP requirements.\n\n * Interacts with personnel and management at all levels, interfaces and coordinates with other business management personnel daily.\n\n * Supports proposal reviews for senior management.\n\n * Prepares and presents costs estimates to management, customer representatives and government audit agencies.\n\n * Ensures adherence to Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Truth in Negotiations Act (TINA), and Northrop Grumman policies and procedures with regard to cost proposal preparation, review, compliance, submission, updates/revisions, and negotiations.\n\n * Supports audit requests, fact-finding, and negotiation discussions and the program budget baseline process.\n\n * Supports various departmental business management \u0026 operations functions.\n\n * Creates/administers pricing databases and coordinates implementation of pricing proposals across the organization.\n\n * Ensures FAR/DFAR compliance of proposals and supports proposals through the NAR/ICE and C101 corporate approval process.\n\n * Supports the front-end business acquisition process by developing proposals.\n\n * Be the point of contact of all government audit inquiries, and work with staff to ensure timely responses and documenting RFIs.\n\n\n\n\nBasic Qualifications:\n\n * Bachelor\u0027s Degree with 8 years of of related experience in government contracts, subcontracts, estimating and pricing, finance, or business administration or a Master\u0027s Degree with 6 years of experience as described above.\n\n * Will consider 12 years of applied experience in lieu of degree.\n\n * Experience in the defense/aerospace industry\n\n * Working knowledge of FAR, DFAR, CAS, TINA and other Government procurement regulations as they pertain to bid/costing proposals\n\n * Experience using MS Office including Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP\u2019s, Macros, etc), Word, PowerPoint\n\n * Experience collaborating in a cross-functional environment\n\n * Ability to travel domestically 10% of the time\n\n * US Citizenship.\n\n * The ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance.\n\n\n\n\nPreferred Qualifications for both levels:\n\n * Bachelor\u0027s or Master\u0027s degree in Business Management, Accounting, Finance or related field\n\n * Experience working with Basis of Estimate (BOE) and analyzing BOE quality.\n\n * Working knowledge of the FAR Part 15 and 31.\n\n * Experience with different proposal and contract types (FFP, CPFF, CPIF, CPAF, T\u0026M)\n\n * Experience using ProPricer.\n\n * Experience with the concepts, principles and standard practices in costing and pricing.\n\n * Experience with supplier negotiations and associated procurement documentation.\n\n * Experience and understanding of statistical analysis and limitations thereof (sample size implications, statistical power, forecast error, etc.)\n\n * Active DOD security clearance\n\n\n\n\nWhat We Can Offer You\n\nNorthrop Grumman provides a comprehensive benefits package and a work environment which encourages your growth and supports the mutual success of our people and our company. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
