This position is located in Roy, UT and will support the Sentinel program. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.\n\nWhat You\u2019ll Get To Do:\n\nOversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management. Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports. Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients. The successful candidate will help drive execution and must be able to effectively communicate with upper-level leadership. You will interface across all elements and sub-elements within DE as well as coordinate with other program and SDS division leaders. A successful track record of program performance, EVMS, interpersonal team building skills, and management experience is highly desired.\n\nEssential Responsibilities include:\n\n * Coordination with program assignment managers to understand staffing requirements.\n\n * Team building.\n\n * Project Execution.\n\n * Integrate and manage between program Segments, and supporting functional teams by performing tactical day to day operations.\n\n * Performing work related to planning, monitoring, and controlling work scope within your assigned program area.\n\n * Review status of projects and budget, manage schedules, assess project issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objective.\n\n * Develop mechanisms for monitoring and reporting project progress and for intervention and problem solving with senior management and managers.\n\n * Coordinate schedules, and provide liaison assistance between the interfacing IPTs.\n\n * Ensure IPT compliance with program processes and procedures and implement improvements.\n\n * Coordinate and prepare executive and customer presentations.\n\n * Evaluate and report health metrics for the IPT.\n\n * Facilitate, coordinate and track preparation and submission of contract and other data deliverables to the customer.\n\n * Coordinate and manage efforts surrounding key program events.\n\n * Collaboration and communication.\n\n * Regular day to day contact with Segment and/or Function Leadership.\n\n * Coordinates with the integration team on day-to-day activities.\n\n * Resolves complex process issues.\n\n\n\n\nThis position\u2019s standard work schedule is a 9/80. In lieu of formal degree, 4 additional years of relevant experience may be considered.\n\n * Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance.\n\n * At least five years of experience in leading project or cross-functional teams.\n\n * Minimum 2 years of experience in managing EVMS projects.\n\n * Experience in briefing executive leadership.\n\n * Must be able to be successfully screened for Enhanced Security Clearances to meet business needs.\n\n * Ability to obtain Control Account Manager (CAM) certification.\n\n * Strong foundation in EVMS knowledge.\n\n * Proficiency in Atlassian tool suite.\n\n * Advanced Excel Skills.\n\n\n\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\n\n * PMP Certification.\n\n * Capable of working with minimal direction, independently determines and develops technical objectives of assignments, and presents work upon completion for high level review.\n\n * Ability to provide and implement solutions to advanced problems which require ingenuity and innovation. Working RCCAs and practicing Six Sigma principles\n\n * Experience with CAM responsibilities.\n\n * Experience in DoD programs.\n\n * Ability to obtain SAP clearance.\n\n * Experience working RCCAs.\n\n * Experience in operating within Six Sigma principles.\n\n\n\n\nPrimary Level Salary Range: $98,100.00 - $147,100.00\n\nThe above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate\u0027s experience, education, skills and current market conditions.\n\nDepending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.\n\nThe application period for the job is estimated to be 20 days from the job posting date.
