Our employees are not only part of history, they\u0027re making history.\n\nThe Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems organization is seeking a highly skilled Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) CAMEO Administrator to lead the implementation, governance, and optimization of our Cameo modeling environment. This is a Sr. Principal Systems Engineering Architecture role that will be pivotal in maintaining robust configuration management practices, enforcing modeling standards, and integrating within CAMEO to ensure seamless traceability across requirements, design, verification, and validation activities.\n\nThe ideal candidate combines deep MBSE expertise with advanced proficiency in Cameo Systems Modeler, strong scripting abilities, and a proven track record of delivering reliable, secure, and scalable modeling solutions in a collaborative, multi disciplinary setting.\n\nResponsibilities:\n\n\u2022 Tool ownership \u2013 Install, patch, upgrade, and maintain Cameo tools and licenses\n\n\u2022 Model governance \u2013 Define and enforce modeling standards, profiles, libraries, and conduct audits\n\n\u2022 Configuration management \u2013 Administer repositories, branching/merging policies, baselines, and change tracking\n\n\u2022 Security \u0026 access \u2013 Manage role based permissions, backups, and audit logs\n\n\u2022 Integration \u2013 Connect Cameo with requirements, PLM, ALM, and simulation tools via OSLC/REST\n\n\u2022 Automation \u2013 Create and maintain Python/JavaScript scripts for validation, reporting, and CI/CD\n\n\u2022 Training \u0026 support \u2013 Provide onboarding, workshops, day to day user assistance, and documentation\n\n\u2022 Quality assurance \u2013 Define validation rules, run automated checks, and report findings\n\n\u2022 Performance \u0026 scalability \u2013 Optimize large models, plan capacity, and implement scaling strategies\n\n\u2022 Continuous improvement \u2013 Track MBSE trends, Cameo releases, and propose process/tool enhancements\n\nBASIC QUALIFICATIONS:\n\n\u2022 Must have a Bachelor of Science degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math (STEM) discipline with 9 years of relevant experience, or a Master of Science Degree in a STEM discipline with 7 years of experience\n\n\u2022 Thorough understanding of Systems Engineering fundamentals\n\n\u2022 Expert-level proficiency with Cameo Systems Modeler\n\n\u2022 Experience with the establishment and enforcement of modeling standards (e.g., naming conventions, diagram usage, documentation practices)\n\n\u2022 Ability to create, customize, and maintain SysML profiles, libraries, templates, and reusable model elements\n\n\u2022 Able to obtain and maintain DoD Top Secret clearance (Interim required to start)\n\n\u2022 Experience defining reusable modeling methods to complex System Engineering problems\n\nPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:\n\n\u2022 Expertise in CAMEO meta chain navigation to generate custom queries (expert level knowledge)\n\n\u2022 Experience with Black box/white box\n\n\u2022 Experience applying MBSE concepts throughout the system life cycle (requirements, architecture, design, verification, validation)\n\n\u2022 Skilled in scripting (Python, JavaScript) for automation of repetitive modeling tasks\n\n\u2022 Experience with CAMEO configuration management (Define branching/merging strategies, lock policies, and model baselines aligned with project governance)\n\n\u2022 Expert knowledge DoDAF or SysML\n\nPrimary Level Salary Range: $122,800.00 - $184,200.00\n\nThe above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate\u0027s experience, education, skills and current market conditions.\n\nDepending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
