The R\u0026D development takes place in an industry leading 300mm facility which is adjacent to our newly announced Manufacturing facility (currently under construction). \n\nYour focus will be on the development and integration of critical technology which enables future DRAM memory scaling for Micron. You will develop the structural and electrical requirements for one or more modules and work in conjunction with Process Development and supporting teams to seamlessly integrate new module solutions into the entire process flow.\n\nResponsibilities include, but not limited to: \n\n * Engineer and develop novel process flows for critical modules. This includes creating structural and electrical specifications as well as design rules for new process flows. \n * Utilization of creative problem-solving skills to develop and optimize new process flows which improve performance and reduce the cost of future memory chips.\n * Design experiments and analyze results using statistical analysis software. Results are applied to directly enhance yield. (DOE)\n * Work cross-functionally with multiple groups including Design, Product Engineering, Process Development, Modeling, Yield Enhancement, Electrical and Physical Failure Analysis, Parametric, and Quality teams to identify and resolve issues.\n * Summarize complex problems, develop actions to address them, and build consensus across teams to drive for solutions.\n * Define and achieve sub-milestones for your projects within the larger timelines of the overall program needs.\n * Close collaboration with Manufacturing as new technology is transferred from R\u0026D phase into production.\n\n\n\nMinimum qualifications:\n\n * A thorough knowledge of mainstream memory technologies such as DRAM, NAND, NOR, \u0026 SRAM \n * Required Education: MS degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or other related technical field is required, plus 5 years of demonstrated semiconductor industry experience\n * Expertise in device physics.\n * Understanding of Process Integration.\n * Proficiency with data analysis, DOE, and statistical techniques.\n\n\n\nPreferred qualifications:\n\n * Preferred Education: PhD in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or other related technical field is required.\n * Successful collaborations in a dynamic, multi-tasking team environment.\n * Excellent communication, organizational, and team building skills.\n\n\n\nJob Profile(s):\n\nProcess Development Engineer - PhD - Semiconductor Process Engineer 5\n\nRelocation Level: TBD\n\nBefore Getting Started \nPlease review Micron\u2019s Internal Job Application Policy on your regional PeopleNow Career Opportunities page before searching and applying for jobs.
