Sr. Processor - Urgent Hire

Responsible for assessing loans and inputting information into the Loan Origination System (LOS) for the subsidiary to assist eligible applicants with obtaining loans in compliance with internal policies, investor requirements, and legal and regulatory requirements.

· Assesses loans and inputs information into the Loan Origination System (LOS) to assist eligible applicants with obtaining loans in compliance with internal policies, investor requirements, and legal and regulatory requirements.

· Provides subject matter expertise when the Supervisor/Lead is not available.

· Reviews and updates information in the LOS throughout the loan process to ensure accuracy.

· Confirms that rates and fees input into the system are accurate and adhere to compliance requirements.

· Maintains and controls 3rd party fees.

· Ensures all fees are updated and documented to prepare Initial Disclosures and Final Loan Documents.

· Reviews disclosures for accuracy and completeness.

· Ensures necessary verifications of income, employment, and assets are obtained for the loan application process.

· Serves as liaison and point of contact to guide the borrower and other stakeholders (e.g. loan officers, underwriters, funders, etc.) through the loan closing process to facilitate a smooth closing process.

· Acts as main point of contact for sales, underwriting, funding, title company, client, and settlement agent.

· Maintains clear, consistent, and professional lines of communication between all involved parties.

· Collects underwriting conditions required from the borrower.

· Collects documentation required for loan closing (e.g. title insurance policies, hazard, etc.).

· Ensures that all Change of Circumstances are properly documented and disclosed within the required timeframe.

· Processes and escalates issues to resolve them in a timely manner.

· Maintains acceptable levels of conversion ratios (i.e. active and closed loans).

· Remains abreast of changing lending industry requirements for legal and regulatory compliance to recommend procedural changes.

· Follows standards for delivery of integrity, client focus, teamwork, and respect for each individual in every interaction.

· Exhibits an observable sense of urgency in the execution of all job functions and duties.

· Follows customer service and productivity standards to meet or exceed performance and production goals.

· Provides out of office coverage for processors, including monitoring emails and corresponding to borrowers.

· Coaches and mentors junior Processors in internal policies, procedures, and best practices.

· Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

High School Diploma

Bachelor's Degree

· Minimum 5 years of related experience as a mortgage loan processor, preferably in a multi-state organization.

· Experience with conventional, Federal Housing Administration (FHA), Veterans Administration (VA), U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), Jumbo, and purchase loans.

· Experience adhering to the legal and regulatory requirements governing mortgage lending.

· Experience delivering exemplary customer service.

· Excellent mathematical acumen to analyze equations.

· Interpersonal, oral, and written communication, and presentation skills.

· Analytical and problem-solving skills with a customer service orientation.

· Project coordination, organizational, prioritization, and time management skills with attention to detail.

· Proficiency in automated loan origination systems (LOS).

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

COMPENSATION

The base salary range for this position is ($53,000 - $80,787), inclusive of all geographical differences in the labor market. The base salary for the position will be determined based on factors such as the candidate’s work location, skills, education, and experience. In addition to those factors, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider the internal equity of our current team members in determining any final offer.
