Job Description - Sr. Product Manager

Position Summary: (This role is located in our Bellevue, WA location and is a hybrid role with at least 2 days in office)
The Senior Product Manager at Classmates is instrumental in steering the execution of the Product strategy, defining, building, and optimizing innovative products that delight our customers. Balancing strategic business goals with customer needs and market opportunities, this role will drive growth and continued improvement in our core features, as well as brand new product innovation. By conceptualizing product initiatives and leading development teams to bring those concepts to life, you will make Classmates & PeopleConnect the most trusted place to learn about people.
The Senior Product Manager will lead the product management team at the forefront of product discovery, justification and delivery. You will develop specifications and project documentation to guide implementation, working with reporting and finance teams to build financial models for new features. You will work cross functionally to determine the best products to deliver on our goals and strategies, then collaborate with design and development teams to launch those initiatives for our consumers.
Responsibilities:

Product Strategy
o

Product vision and road mapping : Craft and prioritize features and experiences that align with the overall vision and strategy.
o

Strategic impact: Key contributor to the business strategy for the company overall, and own Product team objectives.
o

Data & Results : Take ownership of specific Product KPIs and P&L. Work closely with our forecasting team to track performance vs goals, reporting regularly on results.

Maintain a culture of data obsession, ensuring all decisions are data backed and products have clearly defined and measurable measures of success.

Customer Insight
o

Voice of the

Customer: You are obsessed with understanding customer needs and pain points. Leverage user feedback in all forms, including surveys, web analytics, and talking to customers.
o

UX Design & Testing:

You have a deep understanding of UX interaction and design and incorporating it into product development.

Execution
o

Quality: Gather requirements, define functionality, outline clear and actionable goals.
o

Delivery: Work closely with the entire team, engineers, design, & BA to execute specs into successful products.
o

Follow up: Prioritize and resolve technical & functional issues as well as optimize for maximum impact using continued analysis of qualitative and quantitative data.

Influence
o

Stakeholder management : Identify and manage stakeholder feedback integrating it into key product decisions
o

Evangelize : Whether it is Sr Executives, Product teams, or the whole Company, you thrive in supporting and communicating Product Vision across the org. You are strong in persuasion, using data to support your proposals & decisions.
Desired Skills and Experience:
8+ years product management or equivalent experience in providing consumer-facing digital products at scale.
Demonstrated experience growing user engagement with existing features, A/B testing and launching consumer-impacting new features.
Ability to self-manage projects and work within time deadlines
Experience creating lo-fi prototypes and wireframe flows to share with users in a fast, iterative manner
Experience in an Agile and/or Lean development environment, ability to break work down into minimal marketable features and work collaboratively with engineers and designers.
Strong written and verbal communication, business analysis and planning skills, with strong attention to detail
Self-starter with ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Education/Qualifications:
Excel – formulas, graphs, high level modeling and reporting
Knowledge ofFigma, Sketch or Indesign (or similar) , , HTML, CSS a plus
Knowledge of online coding languages, such as HTML, DHTML, JavaScript, Ajax, etc. a plus
BS/BA or equivalent, MBA a plus
Salary Range :
Min: $143,100
Mid: $157,400
Max: $172,600
The pay range reflects the salary amount the Company reasonably expects to pay for the position. It is not a guarantee of actual compensation or a specific payment amount to any candidate. The actual compensation will depend on numerous factors including, without limitation, a particular candidate’s experience, and qualifications.
