Sr Product Support/Systems Engineer - Contingent on Award

As a Product Support Engineer III, you will be using your skills and hands-on expertise to provide technical support and troubleshooting for our product and system prototypes. You'll be responsible for assessing our customer needs and determining the most appropriate technical solution for concept and prototype products and systems. Your technical responsibilities include product installation, testing, error/defect detection and correction, and coordinating the appropriate corrective action with engineers and operators.

Must-haves:
Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering or related field of study or typically 6 or more years of related experience
Practical knowledge of engineering principles and practices
Hands-on experience with wireless networks, tactical communications and personal computers
Communication and customer interface skills
Thorough understanding of system level maintenance of networks and communications systems
Experience working in multi-disciplinary design and development teams
Knowledge of requirements management, functional requirements parsing, derivation, and allocation; systems design, systems integration, technical risk identification and management strategies, and Verification and Validation (V&V) principles
Ability to pass a Tier 1 investigation and obtain a Common Access Card (CaC) and line badge required
Ability to pass FAA Medical Class 2 Flight Physical
Preferred:
Working knowledge of operating military units and logistics
Familiarity with the network and integration of traditional communications systems and sensors
Ability to read schematics, use service manuals, follow test procedures, and use logical trouble shooting techniques.
Experience with RF, vehicle installation and maintenance procedures
Experience with requirements management and system modelling tools, such as DOORS, Rhapsody, NoMagic, MATLAB
Practical knowledge of industry standard mechanical design principles, to include, but not limited to requirements management, Model Based System Engineering (MBSE)
Experience or certification in INCOSE standards
Ability to administer baseline definition and maturation in a complex development setting, including the use of high impact trade studies and other measures
Exposure to establishing and tracking key Technical Performance Measurements (TPM)
Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry, Government, or US Military
