This role is pivotal in delivering exceptional service through effective project management of corporate events. You will oversee all aspects of internal and client-facing events, ensuring a seamless experience from initial briefing to post-event analysis. This position requires a strategic mindset and excellent organization skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with the potential to grow into a full-time role based on performance and business needs.
Accountabilities
- Full life cycle planning and execution of key events in virtual, in-person, and hybrid formats.
- Financial management, including budget development and reconciliation.
- Sourcing and managing contracts for venues and suppliers.
- Coordinating all logistics including transportation, accommodations, and AV needs.
- Working with internal teams to ensure event deliverables meet standards.
- Planning and executing virtual events, ensuring timely communication with all stakeholders.
- Collaborating with colleagues and clients on larger programs.
- Ensuring adherence to client operational standards and compliance guidelines.
- Traveling for on-site event management and inspections.
- Conducting post-event analysis and preparing reports for ongoing improvements.
Requirements
- 5–7+ years of event management experience, particularly in corporate environments.
- Experience with managing senior clients and high-stakes events.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel.
- Strong project management skills and ability to handle multiple projects under pressure.
- Experience with virtual event platforms like Webex and Zoom.
- Leadership, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
- Customer-focused with a proactive attitude and strong organizational skills.
- Adaptable to different client needs and changing demands.
- Willingness to travel for site visits and event management.
